James Nutt, the General Manager and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the DDI Practice at PC Network Inc. (PCN), joined the company in 2012. In his role, James is instrumental in guiding PCN’s DDI practice. He plays a key role in leading the company’s transition and transformation activities for key accounts in the United Kingdom and North America, as well as managing PCN’s partnerships with key industry Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). This position reflects his extensive expertise and leadership in the field.
Before his tenure at PCN, James garnered significant experience at CSC, where he managed the DDI Services group. In this capacity, he served as the Principal DDI Engineer for a number of Fortune 500 clients, underscoring his capability in handling high-profile and complex technical projects.
Beyond his professional pursuits, James is a dedicated family man, married with two children. He is deeply involved in his community, contributing his time and skills as a coach for hockey and soccer teams. This involvement highlights his commitment to community engagement and personal development, extending beyond the confines of his technical and managerial roles.
James is recognized for his expertise in various technical domains, with specialties including DNS, DHCP, IP Networking, NTP, WINS, DDI Architecture, and DDI Engineering. His knowledge extends to UNIX and LINUX systems, underlining his versatility and depth in technical skills. In addition to his technical prowess, James is skilled in business liaison, technical and business writing, and competitive analysis. These skills not only demonstrate his technical expertise but also his ability to communicate effectively, both within the industry and in a broader business context.
