PCN Participates in Privacy Day 2022 Panel Discussion

Harrisburg University’s Government Technology Institute’s (GTI) Security Center of Excellence (SCE) in cooperation with PHEAA and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hosted its fifth consecutive Privacy Day Event on Friday January 28th, 2022. Data Privacy Day is an annual international event that strives to raise awareness and promote privacy and data protection best practices.
Stacy Winters, PCN’s Director Project and Process Management shared her passion for security as part of a panel discussing Major Risks to Data Privacy and Remediation Strategies. Stacy was asked to discuss ransomware and social engineering. She shared statistics about the situation we face and offered actionable suggestions for what organizations can do to protect themselves.
