Tim Barnes, the Director of IT Infrastructure at PC Network Inc. (PCN), has been a cornerstone of the company's technological evolution since joining in 1996 as a Systems Engineer. With a career spanning over 30 years in the field of computers and networks, Tim has gained extensive experience working with a vast array of systems, making him an invaluable asset in his current role. He is responsible for overseeing PCN's extensive technology infrastructure and managing a skilled team of Engineers and Technicians on the ETS team.

Before his tenure at PCN, Tim developed his expertise through roles at AtlanticCare and with several South Jersey Glass Manufacturers, where he honed his skills in various technical capacities. Tim's educational background is rooted in Engineering, complemented by an impressive array of vendor certifications including ITIL 3.0, Microsoft MCITP, and MSCE. This solid foundation in engineering and certifications reflects his deep understanding of the IT infrastructure landscape.

In addition to his professional achievements, Tim is known for his excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in areas like PC servers and workstations, messaging, networking, switching, and routing. His experience as a team lead and in project management spans a wide variety of corporate environments. Tim is always eager to embrace new challenges and continuously learns to enhance his expertise. His focus is particularly strong in areas like resolving broken systems, upgrading existing infrastructure, or designing new solutions.

His specialties include Active Directory Design, Exchange Implementation, and Data Center Relocation. Tim’s career path has seen him in roles such as Internal IT Manager, System Administrator, CSO, and Design Engineer, each contributing to his expansive skill set.

Outside of his professional life, Tim recently entered a new chapter as a married man. He enjoys spending time outdoors, with hobbies like hiking and climbing, and also appreciates relaxing at home.
